oh man, these games are way too stressful. It pains me to see my tigers so bummed out! Feeling their pain right now & hoping things turn around soon!
I am pretty amazed at how far my love of baseball has come. I have always loved going to baseball games, but more so for the environment and love of being a part of something exciting and steeped in so much tradition. But, it took Ross to teach me to really love baseball, and Tigers baseball in particular. He has been patient with me. I used to fall asleep during almost every game I tried to watch with him. Then, I could only stay awake or watch all of the game when Verlander pitched because it moved fast enough. And now...mildly obsessed. and did I mention my heart is breaking right now? This game is not going well.
Back to blogging instead of watching disappointing at bats...
One cool thing (maybe the only cool thing so far) about this series, is that the only 2 ball parks I have been to for games are the sites of this world series. When I lived in Cali for the summer, and again when I worked at JYA, I was able to go to Giants games in their amazing and beautiful ballpark.
(notice I am NOT wearing anything giants related. just a fan of baseball, not the giants. they are the enemy right now)
And there is nothing better than a game at Comerica Park. Seriously. Not much beats that...
