i keep being absolutely amazed with the vision and creativity Ross has. The other day, he brought home some lights that a coworker had saved for him from a project they are working on at van andel arena. Apparently they were the lights that went off when the griffins scored. When he first showed them to me, they weren't all that impressive looking, but he had the vision for them, and I've learned to trust that. He completely disassembled the lights and painted all the metal pieces with a hammered metal spray paint. He then got some galvanized pipes to run the wires through and painted those the same hammered metal. Ross finally got to take down the lights by the garage that were there when he moved in and that he really doesn't like at all and we now have the most awesome lights ever that totally fit our style. I am seriously in awe of the transformation these lights went through and Ross has very much reinforced my trust in his vision.
we didnt get a picture of what they originally looked like, Ross was way too excited to get this project started, but each light had 2 of these attached to each other by one long pipe
all the pieces painted and ready to be assembled
ready for install!
figuring out how the previous light was wired and getting ready to wire in the new one
beautiful transformation. so much better than the previous light. so much more "us".
hard to believe thats a hockey goal light, huh?

Love it ! Great job Ross!
