just a usual thursday night at our house

thursday nights are wonderful. class is done for the week and only one day of work left for Ross & I. time to kick back and relax  do a fun project. getting sucked into projects is a regular occurrence at our house and tonight was no exception.

but, first we had to feed ourselves some delicious pita pizza. we decided to get creative tonight with 3 different types: bbq chicken, alfredo chicken, and balsamic vinegar & basil (modified from here and inspired by a recent trip to Harmony Brewing Company. side note: try the breadsticks and crispy pig pizza pie. amazing!). seriously, pita pizzas are maybe the best thing we have ever discovered. 

then it was on the painting chevron on everything we could think of! Ross cut a template of chevron for me at work and surprised me with that when he got home. so much fun to think of all the possibilities! endless! but, we started with painting a wood board that will eventually become an awesome picture frame. I will definitely post pictures when its complete. love how its looking so far.
