rain rain go away

I am so glad the weather wasn't like this a year ago this week when we got married. Cold and rainy for a day was no big deal, but I am imagining the parking at the barn with all this rain and it would be a mess! So amazingly, I think the weather was actually better last year than this year. Never thought I'd say that!

This weather is crazy. Maggie doesn't like the thunderstorms one bit and stays very close to Ross and I.  But our very lucky and spoiled pup got to spend the day with my wonderful mother-in-law today since she was scared of the storm. Spoiled rotten :)

And the other picture, that's our creek that usually isn't visible unless you walk right up to the edge. This morning it was up to that dirt line and from the back porch it looked like it was rushing right through our back yard. Eesh! So thankful it's gone back down.
