work in progress

once upon a time, this room was pretty much the hub of all activity in Ross' house, but unfortunately, after we moved the TV and large couch upstairs and while we worked on wedding stuff and moving, this room turned into a much neglected space and was quickly filled with boxes of randomness. Most of its decor was borrowed to decorate our wedding or other rooms in our house. However, this past weekend we finally tackled the boxes and gave this room some much needed TLC. And we remembered how much we love & miss spending our saturdays doing house projects and decorating and dreaming up ideas for new & unique projects. This room is definitely still a work in progress, but for now, it is finally a place we can spend time in again and relax in instead of quickly passing through in order to ignore the clutter & mess.

the plan for this large frame is to put two rows of wire across it and hang black & white photos from metal clips. or clothespins. to be decided. we just want a place to easily switch up the photos so we can keep it updated and display more recent photos.

you may recognize this ladder from our wedding photos. It was one of many things borrowed from this space but is now back in its home. But, everything else that used to sit on it has found other homes in our house. So, here is the beginning of a new collection of little things to grace this ladder.

the bunting was an amazing wedding gift we received from our friends Pat & Timm. I believe they got it from Rebel Reclaimed. We love it & love the place that we found for it in our house. So unique. So us. Good work, Pat & Timm!

So, we now have the decorating & project bug once again & will hopefully be able to start up some antique shopping again soon & will have more projects to show in the near future! Stay tuned!
