Just can't help myself....another post about our pup

Have I mentioned yet how much we absolutely love having a dog? Anyone who spends any time with Ross and I is probably very sick of hearing our never ending Maggie stories or even just comments about how great she is. But, we just can't help it. Adding her to our family has been so great. And as if my sister and brother in law hasn't already convinced us enough, we now really know that there is no dog as great as the Wheaton Terrier.

And yes, we will finally be getting her hair cut this week. Time to shed that winter coat and get ready for spring and lots and lots of walks!

UPDATE: Oh man, looking back over my blog posts i realized I only ever mentioned Maggie briefly & never even explained that she is our pup now. The day after Ross' birthday this January, Maggie (or her full name, Magglia, named after tigers great, Magglio Ordonez), came to join the Postmus family! We adopted her from my cousins and oh my goodness have we spoiled her rotten since she came to our house! I may or may not frequently "accidentally" drop pieces of cheese or cereal when I'm in the kitchen and that may or may not be why she now chooses to stay close to me whenever food is around. oops. I'm working on that.

But anyways, she is the best dog we could ever ask for. She is a 5 year old soft coated wheaten terrier, the same breed as Val & Alan's dog, Sawyer. But, they are very different. Sawyer is the silly and goofy side of wheatens and Maggie is the sweet and cuddly side, but they both share the typical wheaten characteristic of being incredibly loving and adorable dogs.

We can't wait for summer to get here so we can take her on lots of walks and trips to the cottage to hang out with Sawyer.
