I have become frustrated by my lack of time or energy to do anything creative or finish any of my many projects that are sitting around the house half finished. This week I got an extra day off due to a work training being cancelled & I took advantage of that time to get caught up on some schoolwork and projects. I have been planning on making this banner for a long time. It will be used to go either in front of or behind the dessert table at my wedding. However, I think it looks pretty darn cute right here on the fireplace. This may be its home after the wedding.
how did I make it? I took a whole buch of my favorite fabrics and cut a diamond shape out of them. Because I really don't sew at all, I used fabric glue on one side of the diamond and folded it over a thick piece of twine. By not gluing or sewing it directly to the twine, they can be moved or I can add or take away some to change the length.
